Prince Harry has risked sparking King Charles's fury as his Invictus Games is set to clash with a milestone birthday for Queen Camilla. The games will occur in Birmingham in July 2027 which clashes with Queen Camilla's 80th birthday. King Charles's wife was born on July 17 1947. The monarch is planning multiple events, including a Thanksgiving service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, to mark the Queen's 80th birthday. Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014 when he was still a working member of the Royal Family. King Charles and Prince William both attended the games in London eleven years ago. Prince Harry is currently not on speaking terms with the Prince of Wales or Queen Camilla. On Sunday, Prince Harry declared "bring on" the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, despite ongoing security challenges following his loss of a High Court battle over UK police protection. The Duke of Sussex made the bold statement at the closing ceremony of the Vancouver Games, addressing a crowd of 20,000 at Rogers Stadium. His enthusiasm came despite losing last year's court challenge regarding his right to state-funded police protection in the UK. The Duke has previously expressed fears of potential knife or acid attacks, telling an ITV documentary that without adequate protection, he considers it too dangerous to bring his wife or children to Britain. So long as the challenges around us demand it and require it, the Games will go on," the Duke told the Vancouver crowd. The duke revealed hopes for his children to experience the Invictus Games, though he stopped short of confirming their attendance in Birmingham. "I'd love for them to experience the Invictus spirit first-hand one day," he told Town & Country magazine.
